La copertina del prossimo disco di Bruce è orribile.

Per noi Springsteeniani queste ultime sono state delle buone annate, con tanti dischi del nostro, tour di tutti i tipi e via dicendo. Oggi è uscita la notizia che Bruce e la banda pubblicheranno un nuovo album il prossimo gennaio. Naturalmente non vedo l’ora che esca il disco e nel frattempo cerco d’immaginare come potrà essere. L’ultimo lavoro in studio, “Magic”, secondo me, è stato un disco abbastanza buono, anche se inferiore a “The Rising” e a distanza abissale dai suoi dischi mitici (Born To Run, Darkness, The River). Dopo aver visto la E Street band in concerto quest’estate, sono confidente che il prossimo possa essere un gran disco. Si dice che sia stato scritto durante l’ultimo tour e concepito con una certa rapidità e urgenza creativa che generalmente, nel Rock, è una buona cosa. Spero che “Working on a dream”, questo è il titolo, sia dedicato alla memoria del nostro amato ed indimenticato Danny Federici.

Per festeggiare l’arrivo del disco nuovo e per ricordare Danny Federici, v’invito a guardare questo filmato con la miglior E Street Band mai vista .
